Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
Femminineo Law in Macomb County is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable managing an active litigation caseload and working both independently and as part of a team.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Work Location: 100% In-Office Position, Mount Clemens, Michigan
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Objectives
- Maintain strict confidentiality of organization and client information
- Oversee litigation calendar and ensure compliance with court deadlines
- Represent Femminineo Law with professionalism and integrity
Skills and Qualifications
- Three to five years of job experience required
- Plaintiff and Litigation work experience in injury field of law preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment
- Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Michigan Court Rules and online court filing systems
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, court staff, attorneys, and insurance adjusters
- Prepare and manage Initial Disclosures and Witness Lists
- Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate case information, deadlines, and calendars
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, facilitations, and case evaluations
- Assist with obtaining and organizing medical records and bills
- Negotiate and resolve medical liens and other outstanding client balances
